When does technical support for Dynamics AX end?
At the end of the support periods, Microsoft will no longer upgrade the product or the security updates. What's more, non-security-related patches for the software will no longer be provided, while warranty claims will also end.
If you currently have Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1), Dynamics AX 2012 or Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or any earlier versions, we'd like to remind you that the extended support period will end on 12th October 2021.
Meanwhile, if you're currently a Dynamics AX 2012 R3 client, the standard support service will continue to be available until 12th October 2021.
For this version (Dynamics AX 2012 R3), Microsoft will continue to develop security and generic patches, as well as regulatory updates for this version, while the extended support period remains in effect until 1st October 2023.
